Over the last few years, the Sichuan printing industry has grown at a rapid annual rate of more than 20%. The output value of the industry in the province was RMB 26 billion (USD 4.1 billion) in 2011. It is expected to exceed RMB 30 billion this year. This information was released by the Sichuan Press & Publications Bureau at a recent training seminar on the application of local printing enterprises for green printing certification in Chengdu.
