Guangdong Modern International Exhibition Center, which has five pavilions, opened in the year 2000. The venue covers 330,000 sqm, has an indoor exhibition area of 10,000 sqm and an outdoor exhibition space of 90,000 sqm. With pleasant surroundings, efficient transport links and free parking for up to 2,000 cars, it is perfect for large-scale exhibitions.
The five pavilions were designed to international standards. At its tallest point, a pavilion is 38.4m high; 12m at its lowest. The roof uses a cable net structure that ensures a large, column-free space that spans 206m. The sections can easily be divided to form exhibition areas of any size, from 5,000 sqm up to 50,000 sqm. Up to 72% of the total area can be used for the exhibition, with the remainder being dedicated to walkways and service areas. Auxiliary facilities, including ventilation, power, gas and water are available and the equipment used is all from internationally renowned brands. The Reception area is 2,700 sqm. It includes the exhibition company’s on-site office, a business center, news center and luggage room.
