World Corrugated Awards 2021: Nomination Process has started!

Introduction:

The World Corrugated Awards was established in 2019 to acknowledge and reward the pioneering design, marketing, management and society responsibility case of the year to identify the teams and individuals who have made prominent contributions to the development of global corrugated industry.

Organized by Reed Exhibitions, strongly backed by the world’s most prestigious and comprehensive industry associations and world-leading brand owners, the World Corrugated Awards is regarded as the milestone grand event in annual calendar to welcome and gather the global industry’ key players to celebrate alongside SinoCorrugated 2021.

Following the past outstanding achievements in 2019, the World Corrugated Awards 2021 has consistently been recognized as one of the best awards in corrugated industry worldwide. For enterprises and individuals participating in the World Corrugated Awards 2021, they will have the opportunity to gain new insights as follows:

About Awards Classification

The World Corrugated Awards 2021 is divided into three categories, namely Innovation, Enterprise Management and Social Value with a total of eight awards:

Innovation Awards

Design Innovation Award

In order to encourage designers throughout the carton packaging industry and to continue to present better ideas in the innovative carton structure, the committee of the World Corrugated Awards has set up this award to reward enterprises, teams or individuals who have made outstanding contributions in this area.

Material Innovation Award

This award is going to be established in order to recognize the professional R&D teams and individuals who are committed to the innovation and breakthrough in material development within paper and carton industries.

Application Innovation Award

This award is set up to recognize teams that have made breakthroughs in carton marketing as their innovation achievements have further opened up the application market and offered more opportunities for the paper packaging industry.

• Corporate Management Awards

New Factory Planning Award

The award is going to be set up in order to recognize management teams of carton factories that have achieved huge success in investment and factory establishment planning over the past three years.

New-Generation Professional Manager Award

The award for the new generation is set up to recognize their outstanding performances. How they utilize what they have learned, live up to expectations, take over the mission and renew the splendor on the foundation.

Risk Management and Control Award

The Best Risk Management and Control Award is established to honor the management teams that fully demonstrate their coping capacity in an incident, or the leading teams who have built a sound and resilient risk management strategy for risk prevention of enterprises.

• Social Value Awards

Environment-friendly Contribution Award

Under the mega-trend of energy conservation, recycling and low emissions, environmental-friendly and intensive production is the due obligation and the major responsibility of enterprises in order to achieve a sustainable development and to realize social value. The Environmental Protection and Intensive Production Contribution Award is going to be set up in order to recognize carton enterprises with outstanding performances within the criteria of environmental protection.

Humanism Practice Award

Humanism requires enterprises to create a growth environment of sustainable development for their employees and the society. This Award is recognize the model enterprises striving to advocate humanism in carton industry.

In our quest to identify and reward excellence, we invite those brands and individuals that are pushing the boundaries of industry excellence to participate in nomination.

About Awards Voting

The First Round of Voting

Time：Middle of May to End of May

Online voters of the public and executives working within the corrugated and packaging industry, have until middle of May to choose the first round of Semi-finallist via online voting process. At the same time, voting the Top 3 of each category will be shortlisted and evaluated again by all judges from around the world in the form of a point rating system. The full namelist for online voting can be announced and viewed in omni-channels at the end of May.

The Second Round of Voting

Time：Show Days (July 14^th)

Followed by online voting, the Top 3 cases with most of the votes in each category will receive the second onsite voting alongside SinoCorrugated 2021 on July 14^th 2021 at the Shanghai New International Expo Centre (SNIEC) at Shanghai, China.

The Awards Ceremony

Finally, the winners will be unveiled at the red-carpet gala ceremony on July 16^th 2021, with the industrial elites in attendance.

In the context of the transformation, upgrading and development of China’s corrugated packaging industry, we expect that the “World Corrugated Awards” will attract more outstanding carton enterprises and individuals to actively participate, share their growth and success stories with us and showcase their true competence on the annual award arena of global corrugated industry.
