In terms of business professionals being able to attend the show please do note that, according to the Guiding Opinions of the Joint Prevention and Control Mechanism of the State Council on Normalized Prevention and Control of COVID-19 issued on May 8, 2020, necessary conferences and exhibitions can be held on the conditions of adopting pre-registration and traffic limit among other measures. Starting from May 9, Guangdong Province has lowered its major public health emergency response measures from level II to level III. On May 13, the Opinions of the Guangdong Headquarters for COVID-19 Prevention and Control on Normalized Prevention and Control of COVID-19 was issued, stipulating that necessary conferences and exhibitions are allowed to be held.
Based on the “Prevention and Control Guidelines of the New Corona Virus (COVID-19) for the Exhibition Industry”, the government requests all exhibition attendees to register under their real names mandatorily due to the current COVID-19 crisis and apply the Guangdong health code (GHC). Therefore, please use exactly the same name such as stated on your ID/Passport when registering for the show, and you need to verify your identification onsite before entering the venue.
All visitors need to go through the five-step check process before they enter the exhibition area.
1. Provide ID/Passport and personal Guangdong health code.
2. Take temperature. Any visitors whose tempretures are over 37.3℃(including 37.3 ℃) will not be allowed to enter the exhibition hall.
3. Disinfect hands with hand gel placed at the entrance.
4. Go through the security check.
5. Register and apply for the badge.
Those international visitors who cannot get Guangdong health code, please provide passports.
Those international visitors who come to China after March 9, 2020 should provide “Notice of Release of Quarantine” .
Side note: The organizer does not disclose personal information (ID number, passport number, phone number) in any form. ID or passport number shall be deleted after a certain period of time after the end of the exhibition.
Given the current situation in regard to our upcoming show in Dongguan taking place from 22-24 July 2020, all Sino shows have turned its star program TAP online, where overseas visitors who are unable to attend the show can also meet-face-to-face virtually with exhibitors and find potential suppliers. Reed will arrange online matchmaking meetings for overseas visitors who have clear intentions of procurement but cannot attend the exhibition in person. Through convenient software solutions such as Microsoft Teams, ZOOM, WeChat and WhatsApp, visitors can communicate with on-site exhibitors to achieve their overall purchasing target. The Online TAP Program will be carried out in three forms, i.e., one-on-one meetings, one-to-many meetings and group-to-group meetings.
